1st European-Ukrainian Energy Day

European-Ukrainian Energy Agency and Conference House are pleased to invite you to the 1st European-Ukrainian Energy Day to be held in Kyiv, May 31-June 1, 2010.
Leading experts from business community in Ukraine and EU, representatives of governmental authorities, NGO and Donor community will join efforts to address the most problematic issues within energy efficiency and alternative energy sectors with practical solutions.
On Agenda:
o Adoption of European standards to Ukrainian legislation – long but unavoidable way.
o Project financing in Ukraine and attracting private investment for project implementation.
o Three parallel practical sessions: Bioenergy (development of biomass and biogas sectors); Wind Energy (perspectives, Land codex amendments, export of electrical energy); Energy Saving in buildings and district heating systems (the biggest savings and a chance to avoid the energy collapse).
o Donor and European initiatives – simple ways to overcome the crisis.
In the frames of Energy Day the Ñompetition for best demonstration project on energy efficiency in buildings “EasySave 2010” will be held!
